Biography[]
When the team must find a painting worth $40 million before it's sold on the black market — and used to fund terrorist activity — Sam and Callen cross paths with Katherine at a crime scene where it was last seen. Though they initially think she could be a lawyer, they settle on someone in insurance, and she sticks by their sides for most of the rest of the case.
The team links the theft of an undersea drone prototype to a video game streamer's elaborate party. Katherine insures the gamer's property and processions. She works with the team to find the drone prototype which ends up being inside the streamer's car which has gone to auction. Katherine seems to know all of the key bidders in the car auction and helps the team in by putting Sam's car up for sale in the auction. After things die down, she asks Sam if she can take his Hell Cat for a spin with him. Callen is surprised because Sam wouldn't let him drive it, he said "she will appreciate it" unlike Callen, who previously said he would love to have a self driving car in the future.
Katherine seems to have kept secrets from Sam and the team when she doesn't reveal her working relationships with Miguel Vela, the man behind a company, "Go Go Go", creating a search engine for a Chinese shell corporation. Katherine is behind the idea of the company feeding false information to the corporation. Once it is discovered she is the "good guy" in the mix, Sam apologizes to her, she apologizes to Sam, and the two go on a date.
