Pre-Series[]
Harley Hidoko was born in 1991 in Baltimore, Maryland. Prior to joining NCIS, Hidoko was a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps. Her husband, Wayne Hidoko, was a fellow U.S. Marine that was seriously Injured in Kandahar. Before his surgery, they got married at Harley's request. He did not survive surgery. After returning to the U.S. Harley let Wayne’s mother, Shirley Hidoko know of his death. Since that day, they were close. When she joined NCIS she eventually met Shay Mosley and became her Executive Assistant when Mosley was the Executive Assistant Director for Pacific Operations.
NCIS: Los Angeles Season 9[]
Hidoko joined the Office of Special Projects team right after EAD-PAC Shay Mosley took charge of the unit. She went to Los Mochis, Mexico in advance of the rest of the OSP Team's Off-The-Books Mexico Mission (Unsanctioned) to retrieve Mosley’s son. Shortly after Hidoko's arrival her tracker stopped working and she went missing. The team is unable to make contact with her and search her room where they find no signs of struggle or foul play. Beale is then able to pinpoint and direct Callen and Hanna to her last known location, a remote area where they discover a pile of burnt human remains containing bone fragments. Later it is revealed through DNA analysis that the burnt human remains found in Mexico are identified as Special Agent Harley Hidoko.
